Can Riot fix all of these?
5. Vanguard: Valorant's custom-made anti-cheat system was a hot topic upon release. The kernel-level access, the drops in fps, the potential BIOS issues. All of that is in the past right? Well, mostly. Some users are still experiencing problems with Vanguard and that'd be fine if it kept all the cheaters out - it doesn't. 4. The Ranked System: There isn't one single issue with Valorant's ranked system. You can lose MMR even with a positive win rate and that feels bad for many players. Then there are the smurfs, the hackers, and the griefers. At least Riot have addressed the latter with some harsher punishments for AFK. (Credit: Riot Games)
3. Training Mode: At the time of release, Valorant already had a training room and that was amazing. Nine months later nothing about it has changed and there could definitely be some improvements to it. What we're trying to say here is that Valorant has a lot of depth and the training mode is the bare bones of it. (Credit: Riot Games)
2. No Replay/Spectate System: But wait not having an amazing training mode will be okay because you can just watch some replays or spectate good players. Right? Oh, there is no replay or spectate system. A requested feature from the start, it only makes sense that a tactical shooter such as Valorant should have such a system. What are you waiting for, Riot? 1. Run & Gun: Perhaps the biggest problem in the game right now is the fact that Run & Gun just works. For anyone unfamiliar, you can just pick an SMG move, shoot and get some excellent results most of the time. This kills the tactical part of the game and leads to a lot of frustration. To be fair it was already nerfed in a recent patch but it certainly wasn't enough. (Credit: Riot Games)
Riot's tactical shooter has been making a name for itself in 2020 and continues to do so in 2021. Valorant has already attracted millions of players, hundreds of pros, and the competitive scene is set. With plenty of events on the way, the game's future looks bright! That doesn't mean the shooter is perfect and we're here to name the top 5 problems that are currently plaguing it.
