As this is an older skin you don't get all the insane animations and effects that you do with modern skins (Riot really stepped up their game), but you still have to respect how cool the Oni Vandal looks. Yes, the Samurai vibe isn't exactly original, but it works. | © Riot Games

Others might have the Xerofang higher up, but for me this is the perfect spot. On the one hand, the design is clean as hell, but at the same time, the animations hold it back. An absolute classic. The VFX and the sounds of this weapon are so satisfying that even for that alone, Reaver Vandal deserves a place on this list. The Araxys has maybe the best pullout animation in the entire game, and I love the reptilian design. Also, the variants all look great. But, I always felt the finisher was disappointing for a skin of this caliber. | © Riot Games
Kawaii! Yes, I know, it's definitely not for everyone, but if you like cute skins, this is your Vandal. Even if you don't like the cutesy style of the Evori Dreamwings skin line, you have to admit the effort the devs went to is incredible, and we can only hope that they keep this level up. The animations are simply incredible, and the music is hilariously trolly.

You knew it was coming – your personal aimbot provider! There's just something about this skin that I don't understand – it makes this powerful weapon so "light" and every shot seems more accurate. Some people have theories that this is due to the shooting animation, improving the visibility of the bullets. Is that true? I don't know, but this is the one skin that almost every Vandal player instantly buys if it's in their Valorant store offers, so it deserves a great place in this ranking. Yes, the Kuronami just misses out on the top spot. But this is a very well-deserved second place winner. The pull-out animation, the reload, the sleek design, the variants, wow. The Kuronami has it all, and comes from maybe the best bundle in Valorant history. This is an instant cop if you get it in the shop. | © Riot Games
