Before EarlyGame, he worked for the German sports website Sport1 and as a gaming journalist for Kicker eSport.

Jon has a BA and an MA in English Literature, and as Content Lead for EarlyGame has written over 1,500 articles. He focuses on shooters, but also writes about entertainment and gaming in general.

Sabrina Ahn is the League of Legends and Riftfeed Lead. During her time at Concordia University in 2014 she fell in love with LoL and is playing it since – how she hasn't lost her sanity is still unclear.

After a childhood full of videogames, Miffy devoted herself to her greatest passion within her academic studies. Aside from science, she has spent too many hours in Dead by Daylight, loves to shred through Souls-likes or chills in Animal Crossing.

Benni is the ultimate nerd when it comes to Fortnite. But when he's not cranking his 90s, he's playing games like Valorant or Rocket League, casting eSports tournaments or skiing in the mountains.

Johanna is studying Online-Journalism in Cologne and has been travelling the gaming world since she was a toddler. Her heart beats for open-worlds, action or fantasy RPGs and third-person shooters with great storylines and (un)charming characters.

Jannik has played every FIFA game since FIFA 05, back then on the PlayStation 2. He also plays various modes in the new EA FC 24, but his favorite is Ultimate Team. Not only have his FIFA skills upgraded since then, but also the consoles. Now, he mainly plays on the PS5. 

As a political science student, Ali has always liked historical games like Assassin's Creed and strategy games like EU4.

Theo’s journey into gaming began with the Nintendo Wii, where he honed his skills playing Mario Kart and Wii Party. As a lifelong football enthusiast, it was his experience with the FIFA 14 Career Mode on the Wii that solidified his passion for the series. In 2017, Theo received his first gaming laptop and immediately acquired FIFA 18, continuing his dedication to every subsequent FIFA installment. Over time, he also ventured into Fortnite, though he admits to struggling with shooters. Instead, Theo prefers watching skilled gameplay from top players and has immersed himself in the Fortnite esports scene. He also enjoys following both German and international streamers.

This is Benedikt, one of our new writers here at EarlyGame. Based in Leipzig, he is currently in the sixth semester of his studies in Media & Communication. He likes making music, working out, and of course playing video games. You can see him play League of Legends in the amateur team of Leipzig Esports, and he also attends Super Smash Bros tournaments. Right now, he is loving Baldur’s Gate 3.

As a player, he loves a challenge, which is why he is currently working on no-hitting Elden Ring, his favorite game of all time. When he’s not trying to find the best builds in Elden Ring, he writes, sings and produces his own songs.
