The female streaming scene has a new leader, who has overtaken even Amouranth.
Amouranth, who was once the top streamer in terms of watch time, now sees significantly fewer viewers. Though she still holds a respectable second place globally, the former Twitch queen has seen a 24% drop in watch time since moving to Kick, compared to the previous quarter.
Mira: The New Number One On Twitch
Mira has taken the top spot among female streamers when it comes to watch time. Her content is similar to Amouranth's: "Just Chatting," "IRL Streams," and the occasional pool stream are what attract Mira's audience. From April to June, Mira amassed an impressive 5.1 million hours of watch time - one million more than Amouranth. She currently has about 712,000 followers on Twitch.
Even though she hasn't been on the Twitch radar for very long, she's already been banned six times. While that's quite an accomplishment, it's not necessarily something to aspire to.
Mira is now the undisputed number one among streamers who show their true selves. However, compared to VTubers who stream with animated avatars, Mira still has room to grow. Japanese VTuber Perona was watched for an astounding 9.68 million hours during the same period.
