Amouranth, one of the biggest Twitch streamers out there, has grown her brand and business significantly throughout the last few years. While she's best known for her streams, she has also become a strategic businesswoman and is now expanding into the world of esports as well.
Amouranth is estimated to have a net worth of over $20 million, so it makes sense for her to invest in new ventures and try out things to grow her net worth, right? Well, it seems that now she has set her eyes on esports, with her buying the esports team "Wildcard".
Amouranth Becomes Esports Team Owner
Not only does Amouranth have a non-exclusive deal with Kick, she's also bought an inflatable pool toy company in 2022, as well as invested her money in various companies like Google, Netflix and Activision. People might hate on her, but Amouranth seems to know what she is doing. So it's interesting to see that she is now venturing into the world of esports as well with her latest purchase.
Following in the footsteps of other content creators like Disguised Toast and MoistCr1TiKaL, she has purchased an esports team, which was announced June 20, in a YouTube video. In the video, she is seen picking up folders with other esports owners names on them, with Amouranth stating "I'm coming for you".
In the video, we can see that Amouranth was looking for a Houston-based team, which is how she found Wildcard, wanting to become a part owner of the team. Wildcard gaming currently participates in two esports, Rainbow Six Siege and Counter-Strike 2, so it'll be exciting to see what Amouranths' involvement in the team will bring. Are they going to be joining new esports or improve upon their current lineups?
