MrBeast is under fire again, this time because of a new trick against the skipping of ads.
It looks like MrBeast is facing one controversy after another. First his employee Ava Kris Tyson was exposed for grooming, then a former employee exposed him for promoting gambling to kids and now this.
Ad With No Ending
In his video "Survive 100 Days In Nuclear Bunker, Win $500,000", MrBeast challenges two contestants to stay in an underground bunker for 100 days – choosing misleading titles isn't something to criticize, at the very least. About 20 minutes in, an ad pops up in the video with a "progress bar" so you can see how long it lasts. It seems nice, but here's the catch.
The bar is moving pretty fast at the beginning but slows down as time goes on. Seems like MrBeast tries new tricks on us to keep us watching the ad. To be honest, this seems like nothing compared to the other two controversies MrBeast and his team face, but this is not the only thing that makes the fans furious about the video.
No End In Sight
It seems that even the biggest YouTuber in the world cannot escape criticism. Shortly after his two former controversies, he tried to get back into his routine by uploading videos and getting a crazy amount of clicks and likes. Well, that didn't quite work out – this video did not only get a lot of hate for the ad placement, the audience is also mad because it seems like MrBeast is also deleting comments about Ava Kris Tyson and his former employee. How long will this storm last, or will it pass if MrBeast ignores it long enough? We will see.
