His team came close to taking the summer season again before losing a dramatic 3-2 final against Top Esports. Jang "Nuguri" Ha-gwon has long been one of the stars of the team. He has had an amazing 2020 before a medical emergency hit him just after the LCK finals. CAPS: Last G2 Esports nearly won it all: both LEC titles, Europe's first MSI cup for Europe and a place in the Worlds finals. This year, they have had a somewhat rockier road, but they still come to Worlds as the champions of Europe - and it came on the back of star mid laner Rasmus "Caps" Borregaard Winther. Caps led G2 through thick and thin and showed both incredible mechanical prowess and reliability. He has been to the finals twice, but this is the one cup that has so far eluded him.
