Kagurabachi Could Be Next Demon Slayer With Upcoming Anime

Kagurabachi has slowly taken over the manga world and it seems that it's going to be coming to television soon as well, not even a year after it started serialization in Shōnen Jump.

My Hero Academia and Jujutsu Kaisen are coming to an end in the famous Shōnen Jump manga. This also means that new series will have to take the helm in the anime department. Demon Slayer will have its final arc turned into various movies for fans to enjoy, but what can take its spot in the mainstream popularity poll?

That's where Kagurabachi, the newest Shōnen Jump hit, comes into play. It seems that Shueisha, Shōnen Jumps' publisher, is already planning on turning this series into an anime as well.

Kagurabachi To Be Turned Into Anime

It seems that legal documents have come to light which reveal that Kagurabachi is going to be getting an anime adaptation within the coming years. According to some legal documents, Shueisha has already filed a trademark for "Kagurabachi" to be used in an animation production, as well as pre-recorded media and video files.

This isn't the first time that a trademark like this has been filed. Other popular series like Kaiju No. 8 and Oshi No Ko also had their trademarks filed years before the shows were released. For Example, Sakamoto Days had its trademark files in late 2021, with the animation set to release in Winter 2025.

So, this could mean that a Kagurabachi anime is going to be in the works, but this does not confirm that the series is already being produced. This is simply to protect the series so that Shueisha can get the most out of their products once they do decide to start production. It's likely that an animation studio first has to be found who are willing to work on the series.

Kagurabachi also only started serialization in September 2023. The manga hasn't even been around for a year yet, so animation studios and fans will likely want to wait a bit longer to find out more about the story and plot before they begin turning it into an anime.
