Rainbow 6 Siege has a lot of maps to offer in Ranked - here are the best ones.
Many people dislike Kanal and I personally don't like it either. But you have to admit; it got a lot better than before the rework. Roaming for example is now possible, because you have more than one way around the building, and there's a double wall breach on the upper floor, which is great fun. Still, you get spawnpeeked very easily, and because of the windows, as an Echo or Maestro, I never feel safe, no matter where I am.

Overall, this is a solid map, but it's heavily defender-favored. The two main sites (upper floor and basement) are extremely challenging to attack, and the map makes it too easy for defenders to spawn peek. So if you get Defense first, don't necessarily ban it, but don't be surprised if you lose a "heartbreaking defeat".

Bank is a great map for long range gunfights and a little bit of sniping. As a defender, it has so much room to roam, which is why in on average two people stay on site during defense. That's why attacking can get a little bit annoying, because you always have to watch for flanks during the round. But if you're tired of the usual Thatcher, Thermite, Breach, Smoke, Plant than this map is for you. It is more focused on hunting down roamers with Jackal, Lion Dokkaebi and so on.

Villa is also loved by roamers. You can have a lot of fun in this big map, hiding somewhere and flanking naive players. So what makes Villa better than Bank? It is slightly better balanced. Attack and Defense have nearly the same win-loss statistics, which is a rare thing in Rainbow 6 Siege. The map might be big, but the corridors themselves are tight. So a bit of organization with some claymores and flank drones, and you don't have to worry that much about roamers.

Kafe is a great map, it's well-balanced, and you can have fun on both, attacking and defending. The only problem: Getting spawnpeeked is way too common on this map. Don't get C4'ed on skylight! They will throw one, trust me.

Chalet is an overall good map. It's a little bit defender sided, but not so much that it becomes a chore to leave spawn, like in Kafe for example. Also, maps where you can defend a garage are great in my opinion.

Probably the only Attacker friendly map in the game. And because there are only two staircases to watch out for, roaming is very difficult. The only problem with this map is that it's so small, you can't do too much sneaky action.

Coastline isn't the most tactical map in the game, but it is a lot of fun! Many maps in Rainbow 6 have their standard operators you "have" to pick, but in Coastline you can feel free to use any Operator you want to play. It is well-balanced and while there are some standard strats, you really don't have to stick to them.

Clubhouse is probably the most balanced map in the game right now. It doesn't have many spawnpeeks and if you play in a team it's probably the best map. It definitely takes a lot of teamwork to push CCTV/Cash effectively. Someone has to breach, the other one has to push garage and a third one stands at the window.
The only reason, it's not at number 1 is that most players don't play in a 5 stack team and as soon as you play against a 5 stack? GG.

Oregon is taking the crown on this one. The classic oldie but goldie map is neither defender nor attacker-sided, and while there may be standard strategies, it offers a lot of creativity for both defense and attacking. It is a really fun map, and especially as a solo/duo queuer, I find this map the best option. Definitely number one.
