In the past year, there have been multiple rumors about the new PS5 Pro. During Gamescom 2024 these rumors were seemingly confirmed to be true.
The PS5 Pro was the talk of the town during 2024. Despite the countless leaks and rumors, the latest State of Play didn't reveal any news about the improved PS5.
Now, during Gamescom 2024, an anonymous developer spilled the beans about the upcoming console.
The PS5 Pro: Worst-Kept Secret Of All Time
A member of wccftech attended the Gamescom 2024 in Cologne, Germany and uncovered some interesting news about the PS5 Pro.
An anonymous developer told them that they had received the specs for the PS5 Pro,and they are happy to say that the console will most likely be able to run Unreal Engine 5 much more smoothly than its predecessor.
They also reported that the Italian website Multiplayer heard from a developer, who had delayed the release of their game, because of the upcoming launch of the PS5 Pro.
The PS4 Pro launched very quickly after its announcement, so maybe we will have a similar situation with the PS5 Pro.
In any case, we will have to wait a bit more until Sony confirms the release date. Let's just hope, we don't have to wait that long for the announcement.
