FIFA 12 – 84 OVR

Neymar's journey in Ultimate Team began in FIFA 12, when the young Brazilian was still playing for FC Santos in Brazil. Even then, Neymar was already highly rated with an overall rating of 84 and even received an Inform card with a rating of 87 over the course of the season.

FIFA 13 – 85 OVR

In FIFA 13, Neymar was about to move to Europe and received his last card from the Brazilian league with an overall rating of 85. As he had already moved to FC Barcelona in the same year and immediately showed outstanding performances there, he was later even awarded an 88 Man of the Match (MOTM) card.

FIFA 14 – 84 OVR

While Neymar's Gold card in FIFA 14 dropped slightly in overall rating, he still achieved a new high by scoring another MOTM card with 90 OVR.

FIFA 15 – 86 OVR

In FIFA 15, Neymar was also on the rise again with the gold card, which had an 86 rating. But the real highlight was his first Team of the Season (TOTS) card with an impressive 95 overall rating - a more than deserved accolade considering FC Barcelona won the Champions League that year.

FIFA 16 – 88 OVR

In FIFA 16, Neymar already started with an impressive 88 overall rating, but was able to achieve a 90 gold card for the first time thanks to the winter upgrades. This success was topped by his first Team of the Year (TOTY) card, which boasted a 97 overall rating.

FIFA 17 – 92 OVR

FIFA 17 was teeming with Neymar's special cards - from Gold and Inform to MOTM and TOTS cards. His TOTS card was particularly noteworthy, with an overall rating of 98, which was just below the maximum but not quite there.

FIFA 18 – 92 OVR

In FIFA 18, Neymar maintained his record rating of 92 and even broke his record of 98 with one of his special cards. The values of his Festival of Football card were particularly impressive: He scored at least 98 in all four attacking stats!

FIFA 19 – 92 OVR

With a 92 rating in FIFA 19, Neymar was one of the players with the highest rating card alongside Ronaldo and Messi. However, he was not only an absolute highlight on paper, but also in terms of play. In FIFA 19, first-touch time finish shots with R1 dominated the meta, and Neymar's excellent finesse shot values made him a true weapon on the pitch.

FIFA 20 – 92 OVR

In FIFA 20, Neymar changed little apart from his new hairstyle and beard, and he continued to hold his own with a 92 gold card. He also received a Player of the Month (POTM) card for the first time since FIFA 18, which was released in January 2020. This card was designed to ease the pain of Neymar not getting a TOTY card this year.

FIFA 21 – 91 OVR

Although Neymar's gold card dropped by one rating point this year, the 99 Summer Stars card was a first: it was the first card in his FUT history to be awarded the highest rating of 99.

FIFA 22 – 91 OVR

FIFA 22 introduced a completely new type of special card - flashbacks. Neymar also received such a card with an overall rating of 87, in which he played for his former club FC Santos. Although this card was rated significantly lower than his gold card, it outperformed it in the areas of pace and shooting, which were rated higher.

FIFA 23 – 89 OVR

After six years in which Neymar was one of the absolute top players, his gold card rating in FIFA 23 fell below the 90 mark for the first time since FIFA 16. Nevertheless, EA also offered a small consolation this year: a 99 card in the FUTTIES version.

EA FC 24 – 89 OVR

In the latest chapter of EA FC 24, we see a Neymar card outside of the top European leagues for the first time since FIFA 13. The 32-year-old Brazilian has been playing for Al-Hilal since last year and is slowly approaching the end of his career. Nevertheless, Neymar has also been equipped with several special cards this year, including the new Versus Fire card, in which he takes on the position of striker.
