In Chapter 5 we saw a brand-new item added to the game: Medallions. Since the start of Chapter 5, we have seen a total of 11 different Medallions with a wide variety of effects. We'll go through them all, ranking them from worst to best.

In 11th place is Mysterio’s Stealth Medallion from Chapter 5 Season 4. It grants temporary invisibility while crouching, but it's hard to use offensively in a fast-paced game like Fortnite; how often do you crouch up to enemies?

The Ringmaster Scarr’s Medallion from Chapter 5 Season 3 provides infinite ammunition, and it was overpowered when paired with the Boom Bolt. However, it became useless after the Boom Bolt was removed from competitive play.

After killing the boss in Brutal Beachhead, you will receive The “Megalo Don’s Medallion” from Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 3. It grants the wearer an infinite nitro effect, enhancing movement speed and allowing them to bash through walls with ease.

The generic Medallions from Chapter 5 Season 1 are taking 6th place due to their shield regeneration effects. When multiple Medallions are in your inventory, their effects stack, significantly boosting shield recovery. However, carrying more Medallions increases your visibility to other players, adding a strategic risk.

This is just a "Copy and Paste" of our 4th place, as it grants you the same effect after killing someone. I put it just slightly higher as it fits the current meta a little bit better than in Season 2 because there was one Medallion which stood above everything, more about that later.

Emma's Frost Medallion narrowly misses out on first place. After you have defeated the boss Emma Frost in “The Raft” POI, she drops a Medallion, that shows you where enemies are as soon as you are in the vicinity of them. Quite similar to how the Island reveal works.

And finally, on the throne, The Aspect of Agility Medallion in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2 is obtained by defeating Cerberus at Grim Gate. This Medallion grants players the ability to perform an Underworld Dash, allowing for quick bursts of mobility. From the whole Fortnite Community, it is considered the best Medallion in Chapter 5 due to its exceptional utility in both evading attacks and repositioning during combat.
