J.K. Rowling is sounding more and more delusional on social media, even going as far as to call out some of the former Harry Potter cast.
J.K. Rowling is getting the internet fired up once more with more anti-trans jargon all over Twitter/X. Throughout the last few years, she's become a vocal member of a large anti-trans movement, believing that only those born with XX chromosomes are women.
She believes that all trans women are simply men pretending to be women. Not only that, but she's also got a strong view against transitioning, having stated multiple times that it is akin to mutilating someone. In a recent thread on X she reiterated these points, even attacking former Harry Potter stars.
J.K. Rowling Doubles Down On Anti-Trans Rhetoric
Over the last four years, Hilary Cass has conducted the most robust review of the medical evidence for transitioning children that's ever been conducted. Mere hours after it was released to the press and public, committed ideologues are doubling down. 1/6 https://t.co/J4fA4JYgkC

J.K. Rowling has been spouting anti-trans rhetoric for years. It's even gotten to the point where fans of the series have begun to boycott new movies, merchandise, as well as video games set in the world of Harry Potter. Her statements have even caused her to be excluded from the Warner Bros./HBO reuniting shows, where the cast of the beloved films came together once more.
Former Harry Potter stars Daniel Radcliffe and Emma Watson have also spoken out and apologized for Rowling's remarks towards the transgender community.
In a recent thread on Twitter/X Rowling once more went on an anti-trans rant, quoting a new report by Dr. Hilary Cass that was commissioned by NHS England back in 2020. Rowling stated that the report shows that helping young people and teenagers transition is a form of "severe medical malpractice" and that "kids have been irreversibly harmed".
Not safe, I'm afraid. Celebs who cosied up to a movement intent on eroding women's hard-won rights and who used their platforms to cheer on the transitioning of minors can save their apologies for traumatised detransitioners and vulnerable women reliant on single sex spaces.

Someone commented under the post, basically stating that Daniel Radcliffe and Emma will have to give Rowling a public apology after the findings of the Cass report, though not everything in said report can truly be taken for granted. One of the transgender teenagers who took part in the paper by Cass and was part of multiple focus groups throughout the years revealed to the BBC that a lot of the discussions did not translate into the report.
Rowling replied to the fan, stating that "celebs who cosied up to a movement intent on eroding women's hard-won rights and who used their platforms to cheer on the transitioning of minors can save their apologies for traumatised detransitioners and vulnerable women reliant on single sex spaces".
