Skarner's VGU was announced years ago, but it's taken way too long to get off the ground, it seems. Well, now the devs finally have some good news for future – and current – Skarner mains.
Riot Games just released their latest dev vlog on YouTube. In it, they went over the start of the season and how the shift away from preseason has benefitted the game, while also discussing new Co-op vs AI bots. One topic was never touched upon though, and that's Skarner.
So, in a Reddit post, Jeremy "Brightmoon" Lee gave an update on the scorpion and his current development.
League of Legends: Skarner's VGU Should Come Very Soon
It's been said over and over again. Skarner will have his VGU revealed soon. By this point it's like a broken record, but with him coming in early 2024 it is much more real and feels more genuine coming from the devs.
Under the Dev Vlog, most players wondered where the information about Skarner was, speculating that because there was no update, the champion would be pushed back once more.
Riot Brightmoon went on Reddit after the video went live to appease the player base and reassure them that Skarner wasn't fogotten and that his Visual and Gameplay Update will be revealed very soon.

I was worried we talk about Skarner too much, but in retrospect I was wrong. Skarner will be on PBE in a matter of weeks, not months, so hang in there.
This could mean that Riot is going to reveal Skarner's VGU either for LoL Patch 14.6 or 14.7, but that's just speculation at this point. Hopefully we get to see this new Ixtal-version of the champion soon because players have been waiting for this VGU for a long time.
