Red Dead Redemption 2 has captivated players since its release in 2018, not only with its authentic and highly realistic presentation, but also with its emotional story centered around Arthur Morgan.

For many gamers, RDR2 has already provided them with the perfect ending. If you are not one of them and have been wishing for a different ending to the game, this might be for you.Warning: Major spoilers for the ending and epilogue of Red Dead Redemption 2 ahead.

A New Ending For Arthur

The new mod for Red Dead Redemption 2 called "Arthur's Redemption" completely changes the fate of Arthur Morgan. In this version, Arthur doesn't succumb to his tuberculosis, but instead recovers and continues to live with the remnants of the gang that survived Dutch and Micah's betrayal. You will now have the opportunity to continue exploring the open world with Arthur, instead of immediately moving on to the epilogue with John Marston. The mod begins at the Beaver Hollow camp, then backtracks to Clemens Point and beyond after Dutch and Micah disappear. Arthur sets out on a quest to track down his old friends, who may or may not still be alive.

However, the new mod also comes with a few bugs. Sometimes unexpected gang members appear, and the game can crash when visiting certain locations.

The mod's creator, RedPeds, recommends playing through the epilogue before starting the mod, as you don't want to miss out on the great experience of the original story. However, if you want to roam the landscapes with Arthur again, you should install this mod, which is available on Nexusmods.
