The Witcher Season 5 has already been announced and will mark the end of the popular Witcher series.
The Witcher series, based on the book series of the same name, captured the hearts of viewers with its first two seasons. Unfortunately, the third season wasn't as well-received. Nonetheless, Netflix has already announced a fourth season.
Now, the producer and showrunner Lauren Schmidt Hissrich has revealed in a statement that they've planned a 5th season. This will serve as the series finale, giving it a dignified conclusion.

Nevertheless, the producer announced in a statement her intention to give the series a worthy ending. Therefore, the last two seasons will be based on the books Baptism of Fire, The Tower of the Swallow, and Lady of the Lake.
She also mentioned her excitement about working with a new cast:
It is with huge pride that we begin shooting our penultimate Season of The Witcher with a stellar cast, including some exciting new additions, led by Liam Hemsworth as Geralt of Rivia.
As we already know, Liam Hemsworth will take on the role previously held by Henry Cavill and will be portraying Geralt of Rivia. Maybe the actor known from his portrayal of Gale Hawthorne in the Hunger Games films will breathe new life into the two seasons.
We're hoping the new seasons will inject some fresh energy into the series. Are you looking forward to the upcoming seasons? Share your thoughts in the comments!
