3. Shockblade Kassadin

You take a step out of the universe-hopping mobile and are met with a vast new world. Your skin prickles, the thin hairs stand up as you feel the electricity sparking in the air. What could this be? The sky is filled with heavy, thick and dark clouds, friction evident as they're gearing up for an explosion of electricity once more. The fly-in had been perilous, you'd almost crashed a few times. Who would live in such a world ruled by lightning and thunder? Who would dare venture into such a plane? Seriously, the lighting manged to fry your entire engine, and you still have to get out of this universe to find other ones.

It is then that you notice the large temple, imbued with blue light. This is where you can get help... at least you hope so. Rushing down the steps and into the temple, you run into a large man whose face is hidden under a mask. He looks grand and important, the symbol of the Shockblade temple proudly displayed on his chest. Could this man help you? Is he able to fix the vehicle, so you can get out of here? These conditions are making your hair awfully static and ruining the look you'd worked so hard on.

This man before you is the high priest of the Shockblade Order, someone who knows more about the power of lightning than anyone else you'd ever met. He's knowledgeable and honest and even though it is far beneath him, Shockblade high priest Kassadin does help you. He follows you to the old car and even though he's never seen such a piece of tech before, he manages to use the power of the lightning to somehow fix the electronics. You thank him as you get on, hoping that the next universe won't be as filled with as much static as this one. | © Riot Games

2. Count Kassadin

Children are scurrying down the street where you make your landing... everything looks normal... too normal. Did you just land back on earth? Did you put in the wrong coordinates? No, there is something different about this world. The children look cute and adorable, wearing costumes and masks, but then you notice, the sky is purple, and the grass is blue. This doesn't look normal at all and yet, it somehow fits. The houses lining the street are uneven and large, but there is one home, hidden behind a huge fence, that sits alone and forgotten. Who might reside in such a huge mansion?

You see a bunch of kids, clearly trick-or-treating stop by the large gates, one of the whispers to the other, pushing them forward almost like it was a dare. You move closer, curiosity getting the better of you as you watch the shaking young child ring the bell. 'Count Kassadin'... so a count resides in such a place? Wouldn't someone with such a large estate give the best candy on such an evening? You wait and then the gates open. Out walks an ominous man, his shirt unbuttoned, showing off a grandiose six-pack, while hiding his face under a mask.

Why the unbuttoned shirt? Isn't that just a bit too much when giving out candy to children? But it isn't candy that Count Kassadin gives out, rather an earful and a few choice words towards the kids before scurrying back into his large mansion. The kids squeal in fear, run off to the next house, shouting something about Count Kassadin coming to drink their blood. Well with an attitude like that, it sure seems like the guy goes into his basement to laugh.... | © Riot Games

1. Cosmic Reaver Kassadin

You remember this world... the one you end up in last. It's a foreboding and beautiful world, filled with stars and planet systems, as well as dark evils that swallow civilizations whole. You float through the darkness, enjoying the far away stars and how they flicker and blink in the vacuum of space. Nothing is more serene and relaxing than this, but at the same time you can't help but wonder where you'll find the final incarnation of Kassadin. Will he also be a Dark Star or something far more dangerous? Maybe something beautiful?

That's when you spot him. A creature, standing alone at what almost looks like the edge of the universe, alone within space. He watches you, just as he watches everything else around him. He's unmoving and stoic, no expression, nothing. This is Cosmic Reaver Kassadin, the one who awaits the end of the universe, so a new universe can take shape. Never before have you seen such a creature, but you're in awe of his sheer presence.

But other than that, there is nothing else to see here. Cosmic Reaver Kassadin has shut himself away from other cosmic creatures, to silently watch over everything. You choose to move on from this world, not wanting to disturb Kassadin anymore than you already have. | © Riot Games

Kassadin was released all the way back in 2009. He's basically an old man within League of Legends, and if we're honest, he's an old man in his lore as well. He has managed to walk the Void, a changed man forever. Previously he was a mere father from Shurima, but when his daughter was taken by the Void he ventured into the vast nothingness to try and find her.

Now, if that isn't a tear-jerking story, then I don't know what is. Sure, Kassadin's lore has been changed over the years to fit the narrative Riot is going for, but the current iteration would make for an insanely great movie. Just imagine Kassadin using a Void-cellphone calling Cho'Gath like: "I will find you... and I will kill you." I mean... I would pay to see this movie any day... wait I've just been informed that these lines have already been used in a film before... RIP, guess I'll have to think of other menacing lines... maybe him meeting Kai'Sa again and going 'I am your father' would be a good line. Wait, that one is already taken as well?!

Okay, guess we will have to strike out the brilliant idea of a Kai'Sa and Kassadin movie in the future. All the good one-liners have already been taken by other movies. So, if we aren't getting any news on an Arcane season 2, the League of Legends MMO or this Kassadin and Kai'Sa film I just made up, then we have to check out some Kassadin skins. Which ones are the best Kassadin skins and what do they look like? It's time to get into the universe hopping mobile and check it out!
