Riot Forge is working on some interesting games that will be coming soon. Now we've also got estimated release dates for three upcoming Riot Forge games set in three completely different regions of Runeterra. It's time to get hyped.
In late 2021, Ruined King: A League of Legends Story was released, bringing the ruination story to life in a completely new way. This game was developed by Airship Syndicate and published by Riot Forge. With it, more games like it were promised, and we knew we'd get at least three new games set in Runeterra.
Finally, Riot Forge has revealed some new information regarding three upcoming titles. Two games were already announced a year ago while a third was only rumoured to be released sometime soon, but now we've got some confirmation.
Riot Forge Announces Release Window For Three Games
Song of Nunu: A League of Legends Story
The game we know the most about is being developed by Tequila Works and will take place in the Freljord, following the adventure of a young boy, Nunu, and his best friend Willump, a Yeti. This adventure RPG looks incredible and while many thought it would release in 2022 we've finally got a concrete release window.
Song of Nunu will be released in Fall 2023 according to the latest Tweet from Riot Forge.
But can we talk about Project L and what we want from the fighting game?
Convergence: A League of Legends Story
The second game we've also known about is Convergence which features everyone's favorite time traveller Ekko. This game is a platformer and should be released in Summer 2023 according to Riot Forge. This is another game that had been teased by Riot Forge before and is being worked on by Double Stallion.
- While you wait, play some Pokémon until these games release this year.
The Mageseeker: A League of Legends Story
This is the game most players hadn't known about yet. There were rumours that a game set in Demacia was in the works, but it hadn't been confirmed yet. Just recently, a Korean game rating agency rated this game, the information leaking to the public, which meant there was an inkling out there that a Sylas game would be released soon.
The Mageseeker looks like an 8-bit game and will be released in Spring 2023 by developer Digital Sun. The art looks incredible and overall this looks like a cool game. Fans do hope that the game will continue Sylas' story though and move the plot forward, like Ruined King did.
