Huge Halo Infinite Season 2 Leaks Reveal Maps, Items, & More

Halo Infinite Season 2 is on the near-horizon, finally. We already have an idea about what will be coming, but a series of leaks reveal our first-look at what it will all look like.

Halo Infinite Season 2 has a lot riding on it. After all, the mid-Season Update failed to literally add anything and things like Co-Op and Forge won't be here for a while (though the former may release later in Season 2). We need it to absolutely blast, we need it to be so explosively fantastic that it manages to retain a player-base that has seen a number of losses in the months since the game dropped in December.

It's actually a shame that Halo Infinite is in the state that it's in, because the game is absolutely incredible. It launched with a great assortment of Multiplayer Maps, a Campaign that was better than both of 343 Industries' previous games, and a level of polish that was shocking considering the games' contemporaries. It wasn't hard to be positive about the game, released in a week that also saw Call of Duty: Vanguard and Battlefield 2042 slop into existence. It has been nearly six months, though, so it's got to keep that good-will.

That's where we come in, frothing at the bit for more information about what Season 2 will offer. We already know a whole lot, thanks to a few limited announcements made by 343 Industries, but there is so much yet to be known. The reality is that, if what has been announced is all that is coming, we're going to have a real problem. Thus, it's time to look to the leaks for the latest information, and there have been a lot of leaks. Here are a few, to get your appetite satiated...

Halo Infinite Season 2 Map, Cosmetics & Battle Pass Leaks

The most important thing to note about any leak is that it is unverified and possibly utter rubbish. Now, @DeltaNewsx is a great source of leaks, and have been correct on all sorts of things. They correctly predicted basically everything that was to come in the Tactical Ops Event, and have historically been incredibly accurate with their predictions.

Backed by data-miners, these guys have managed to pull together an impress assortment of leaks, all of which look pretty darn credible. From screenshots of possible new maps, to cosmetic items that they have found from one source or another, there's a lot to digest. We'll try to keep it short, though, and just get straight to the point.

Halo Infinite Season 2 Maps Leak

We already know that there are two new maps, Breaker and Catalyst are coming in Season 2, but there are rumours about a third map coming later in the season. Breaker, the map shown in the picture below, looks pretty darn great to be honest, though Catalyst looks a little generic from what we've seen. We're sure that it will be great, though, 343 Industries hardly missed a beat with the original line-up of maps.

Now we come to the real nitty-gritty, the first "leak" of this article. An ice map, apparently called "Frigate" is yet to be released or announced. This unrelease map looks pretty darn amazing if it is for real, with a giant UNSC Ship that has crash-landed in the middle of it.

From the picture posted by the leaker, though, it does seem to be pretty far from being finished. There are no applied textures to the front-half of the Frigate itself, and the other textures all look pretty rough as well. Still, this is a super cool idea for a multiplayer map and we do hope that we'll see it somewhere in the second half of Halo Infinite Season 2. Fingers crossed...

Halo Infinite Season 2 Cosmetics Leaks

Where do we even start when it comes to new cosmetics in a new Halo Infinite Season? There are clearly going to be a hundreds of helmets, armour kits, and things like emblems. Thus, it is kind of hard to know which leaks to share here, so we'll share two particular ones from this same leaker. They are pretty hype, so we don't blame you if you get a little excited at the sight of them!

These first ones are the possible Helmets that will be coming to Halo Infinite in Season 2. They are all seem to be pretty focused on blue, but we imagine that we'll be able to customize them once they are in our inventory if that isn't our kind-of colour. They even have names, which are as follows:

  • Air Assault
  • Warmaster
  • Enforcer

Then there are the unreleased Item Shop Bundles, some of which look absolutely fantastic. There is even what looks like a Vehicle Bundle here, which is great to see. Now, keep in mind that these could not even be related to Season 2, though they do seem to share similar attributes of what we have seen so far. Again, here are their names:

  • Mindful Means
  • CQC
  • JFO
  • Fireball (Armor Set)
  • Midnight Gold
  • True Blue
  • Recon Gear
  • Kukri

What's in the Halo Infinite Season 2 Battle Pass?

This isn't technically a leak, but a lot was revealed in the teaser trailer for Halo Infinite Season 2. Many of the items shown in the trailer will clearly come to the Battle Pass in Season 2, and they actually look pretty dope so we ain't complaining! It's hard to really tell what's what, but here's the trailer so you can have a look yourself. Just realize, though, that this truly is all that we know about the Season 2 Battle Pass so far...

So there you have it: pretty much everything that we know about Halo Infinite Season 2 from the leaks that are currently available. It's a lot to digest, I know, and it's a lot to get used to. There are some great-looking items coming to the Halo Infinite Item Shop, that's for sure, but the maps that we have seen seem pretty minimal, and if this is all they can give us... we're not really sure it's going to be a banger!
