Warzone and Call of Duty: Vanguard Season 1 brings a brand new Anti-Tank Sniper to the game, dubbed the Gorenko. How do you unlock it?
The brand new Gorenko Anti-Tank Sniper Rifle comes to Warzone and Call of Duty: Vanguard as part of the first new CoD Season since the latter game released back in November. It needs to be unlocked, of course, and is one of the first two new weapons to make their way into Vanguard post-launch. Exciting? Well, let's see.
Whilst Call of Duty: Vanguard might be a pretty tasteless cash grab, from a company that has outstanding sexual discrimination claims being investigated against it, the game's Multiplayer has generally received positive feedback. It has a lot of customization, some fantastic maps, and even cross-progression with Warzone. There's quite a lot to like there, and with Season One, we'll be adding even more weapons to the game's already-strong arsenal.
Now, every season of Call of Duty brings new weapons to both Warzone and whatever the current CoD game is. This means that throughout Modern Warfare, Black Ops Cold War, and now Vanguard's life cycle, we get multiple seasons with numerous new weapons across the base-game and Warzone.
Season One of Vanguard, its subsequent integration into Warzone, and the latter game's brand new Caldera Pacific Map, is no exception. In Season One of Vanguard and Warzone, we receive two new weapons, each of which need to be unlocked via the Battle Pass. Today we're taking a look at the brand new Gorenko Anti-Tank Sniper Rifle, and show you how to unlock it.
How to Unlock the Gorenko Anti-Tank Sniper in Warzone & Vanguard
To unlock the Gorenko Anti-Tank Sniper Rifle, you need to reach Tier 31 of the Battle Pass, available across both Call of Duty: Vanguard and Warzone. The game's have cross-progression, so you can either grind Vanguard's Multiplayer or check out the brand new Warzone map that is releasing alongside Season One.
To grind your way up through the levels towards the Gorenko Anti-Tank Sniper Rifle, you simply need to play the games and earn experience points. Otherwise, you will need to purchase a number of Premium Skips, which cost real-life money. That all being said, the latter option is probably the most boring. After all, don't you want to play the game?

The Gorenko isn't one of the strongest Sniper Rifles we've seen in Call of Duty: Vanguard and Warzone so far. In fact, it is rumoured that the Gorenko has a slower fire-rate than most Snipers, with some insane recoil. That being said, it is also suggested that this particular new weapon deals some pretty insane damage. Once you've launched into the Gunsmith and made some changes, perhaps it'll be a solid alternative to the Kar98k, even if it won't be the strongest Sniper Rifle available in Vanguard and Warzone Season One.
