BOCW Warzone MAC 10

MAC 10: The MAC 10 was only added in Season 1 and is already making a name for itself. It has an incredibly high rate of fire and correspondingly high recoil. With the right attachments and a little practice, nothing can beat it at short range - not even the MP5. If you like to get in the middle of the action and love getting close and personal, you should definitely give the MAC 10 a try. (Image Credit: Activision)

BOCW Warzone Krig 6

KRIG 6: The Krig has a rather low rate of fire, but it does a lot of damage and is very precise. In close combat, it is often outclassed by faster weapons due to its low rate of fire, but at medium and long-range it's the best choice. BOCW Warzone Stoner 63

STONER 63: This LMG is a cross between an assault rifle and a machine gun. High damage, fast rate of fire, and good accuracy make this weapon a real beast. It is probably best compared to the Bruen, which dominated Verdansk for a long time. M16: The M16 is a tactical rifle that can only fire in burst mode. That doesn't make it bad at all. The enormous range and precision of the weapon put some DMRs in the shade, and the damage is also impressive. PELINGTON 703: Pelington or Tundra? Although the Tundra has slightly higher damage, we'll go with the Pelington here. The Pelington's damage is also sufficient, if you aim well, to take out opponents with one shot, but it is significantly faster than the Tundra. Season 1 of Black Ops Cold War has finally started, bringing new weapons, maps, and operators, as well as the integration of BOCW into Warzone. From now on we can not only fight for our survival on the brand-new map Rebirth Island, but we can also use all weapons from Black Ops Cold War.

Until now, there has been a relatively stuck meta: Kilo or Gray paired with the R9-0 or the MP5. With over 30 new weapons, however, that could soon change. Tactical rifles like the M16 or AUG seem to be perfect for long-range combat and the just-introduced MAC 10 could soon be the new melee meta weapon. We've taken a look at all the weapons and picked out the five best, which you should definitely try out in Warzone. To make sure that there is something for every playstyle, we have selected one weapon from each category.
