The C58 was once one of the best rifles in Warzone, alongside the EM2. Then Vanguard happened, and we were all distracted by the Automaton and the Bren. But after those weapons were (perhaps too harshly) nerfed, the community were left wondering what to use. Well, the EM2 and the C58 didn't go anywhere, and they still chop up. Here's the best attachment setup and loadout for the C58 in Warzone.

The Best C58 Attachment Setup

If you were chasing the meta during 2021 in Warzone, then this build will look very familiar too you. The Agency Suppressor, Task Force barrel, Field Agent Grip and Axial Arms work together in perfect unison to give us bullet velocity, damage range, and recoil control. In other words, everything we're looking for when putting together long-range AR builds. The 45 round drums might be too small for some tastes, and you might be tempted to go for the 55 rounders, but this is a mistake. The ADS penalty for the 55 round drums is just too crippling for this weapon, even if we have an SMG to pull out in our secondary slot.

The Welgun absolutely slaps right now, it's as simple as that. There's almost nothing with a better TTK from 20 m and in, except the JAK 12, but that's a very difficult to use weapon. The Welgun isn't.

With this setup, we're balancing out the most competitive TTK we can achieve with good mobility. A few weeks ago we might have advised the Gawain short barrel, but after a recent series of nerfs, the shrouded is now the better option.

The Best Equipment For The C58

If you're using the C58 in the first place, then you're not playing Vanguard Royale, so we'll use some older (and better) pieces of equipment. Semtex is just a great do-it-all grenade that can be used effectively against vehicles and infantry. While Snapshot grenades are a god-send on the push, and can really open you up to make bold challenges with the Welgun.

The Best Perks For The C58

We'll start with the obvious here, Overkill needs to be taken so that you can bring two primary weapons. But maybe on your second loadout, consider Tempered for an aggressive set of weapons like these. We've also taken E.O.D. as a reliable passive buff, which will be especially useful if we're getting up close and personal with the Welgun. And in the third slot, we've taken Tracker for the same reason - getting aggressive on the push.

The C58 does have a little kick to it, not quite as bad as the EM2, but enough that it won't be to some of your tastes. If that's the case, try the ever-dominant Bren.
