5. Know Your History

This was the event that introduced Black Ops Cold War, and some of you might have forgotten it because it wasn't strictly "fun". There weren't new enemies or a special activity to complete, but the mystery surrounding this event was really well executed. 4. Operation Flashback

This was an event that saw out the last dying days of Verdansk. As each circle closed, a new in-game activity began that came from a previous Warzone event. It was a great way to revisit some of the best moments and to properly say goodbye to the map before we moved to Caldera. RIP Verdansk. | © Activision Blizzard

3. Operation Monarch

Godzilla and King Kong as giant monsters on Caldera was just nice. Sure, they could have gotten more out of that crossover, but it was still fun to run around between the two monsters and control their attacks. By the way, we also got a Godzilla, Mechagodzilla and King Kong operator skin... | Activision

2. The Haunting Of Verdansk

Obviously, this was going to make the list. Many of you probably thought it would be number 1, and I'm almost tempted to agree. The Haunting was such an exciting and well-hyped up event. And back then (the late Summer of 2020) Warzone was in its Golden Years. But it doesn't quite get first place because there were a number of clearly imbalanced weapons and tactics that had been overlooked when they planned the event. 1. 80s Action Heroes

Yep, Rambo and John McClane win. This event came at a low-point in Warzone's history, and no one was too excited heading into the event. But what did it deliver? One of the funnest and most aggressive modes we've ever had, an amazing new POI: Nakatomi Plaza, some of the best Operator bundles still to this day, and the greatest deployment music we'll ever get. Not to mention the Combat Bow, which is still probably the most fun killstreak to use. Warzone has been great fun. But after two years, the core player base is sweaty as hell and most of the (filthy) casuals have fallen off. Now it's meta-chasers, playing Rebirth and Iron Trials game after game. And we're here for it. But sometimes it's nice to all let our hair down and have a bit of stupid fun. That's where the events and limited time modes come in. And there have been some incredible events. But, what have been the best events in Warzone's history? We think we've worked it out...
