Roughly two weeks ago, a renowned data miner leaked the discovery of a new agent codename within Valorant's game files. Now, the question arises: Is it an actual new agent, or simply a codename for an entirely different element? Let's delve into the details to uncover the truth.
Valorant features a unique and fascinating agent roster. While KAY//O is a nationless machine and Omen is a phantom of memory, the other agents are all connected to their respective countries and possess human-like qualities. The question arises: Will Valorant break away from its current structure and introduce an agent codenamed "Giraffe," or does this signify something entirely different?

What Is Valorant Codename Giraffe
According to John Goscicki, the Character Producer for Valorant, three new agents are scheduled to be added to the game during this year. As of now, Gekko was released in March, and Deadlock was introduced in June.
One more agent remains to be released, and Riot has only five months left until the end of 2023. The codename "Giraffe" is currently a subject of speculation, but there is a possibility that the new agent might have animal-like characteristics.
Rumors suggest that the next agent will be a Duelist, and recently, a tweet appeared with an alleged leak of a sound file mentioning "Giraffe."

The sound file gives the impression of a goofy or smaller version of KAY//O. As all the sounds included are robotic, this could be a hint that the new Duelist is somehow related to KAY//O. Further leaks and stories suggest that the secret room in The Range might hold some answers.
Upon entering the secret room, a message is displayed in which Viper explains that a looming danger is coming to the Kingdom. The message mentions a "K-Sec" contact, which could be connected to the new agent.
Later, a new message appeared with the following content:
"Have you lost your mind?! I am not shutting down a critical Kingdom facility! I asked you for a little help with some intel, and you gave me nothing! - K-Sec to Brimstone"
From what we can see, K-Sec is actively communicating with Brimstone regarding the shutdown of a critical Kingdom facility. After asking for crucial intel from the new agent and receiving nothing, Brimstone seems to have stopped responding to K-Sec, which has caused K-Sec's anger and the severing of all communication.
K-Sec's arrival is imminent, but which side will it be on?!
Valorant Codename Cable & Aggrobot
All the previously leaked codenames have had meaning and were connected to the released agents. Codename Cable was a hint at Valorant's newest agent, Deadlock. The "Cable" was a part of her utility kit, and the codename leak turned out to be accurate.

Codename Aggrobot, on the other hand, was associated with Gekko. In various fandoms, Aggrobots are small robots closely connected to their "master," assisting them with tasks. Gekko has his Wingman, Dizzy, and Thrash, who are likely the Aggrobots in his utility kit.
