The next big update in Valorant is set to arrive with patch 2.08. It'll conclude the current Battle Pass and introduce Episode 2 Act 3. What exactly will be in the new 2.08 patch? We'll try to answer that:
Valorant Patch 2.08 Prediction

A New Agent
Every new Act in Valorant so far has added a brand-new agent to the roster, so it's only logical to expect another Valorant character with patch 2.08. This time around, the number of leaks was rather low, and we don't have a lot of information available when compared to some previous agents. What we can predict, is the agent's role. Currently, the role distribution between the 15 playable agents is as follows:
- 5 Duelists
- 4 Controllers
- 3 Initiators
- 3 Sentinels
Chances are we'll see an Initiator or a Sentinel as the next agent in Valorant.
A New Map
Valorant's players have been waiting for a new map for what seems like forever. We last saw the release of Icebox back in October. Leaks of a new map have been around lately, and it all points to something sea/boat related.

Map 6 NarrativeThe Night Market image also has coordinates pointing to the Bermuda Triangle. This leads me to believe the ship in the Lost At Sea Card is going to stumble upon an unmarked island within the Triangle. Possibly using Radianite to explain the phenomenon. pic.twitter.com/zz6U2pkddq

The name of the map was initially thought to be Foxtrot, but it actually turns out to be called Breeze.

Numerous posters have also appeared in-game and they also indicate some sort of tropical paradise.
A New Battle Pass
Much like any other Valorant Act so far, it's 100% guaranteed that Riot Games will add another Battle Pass. Expect the usual skins, weapon charms, and various other cosmetics to become available with Valorant patch 2.08.

Coaching Slots
One of the biggest leaks recently, was the reveal that coaching slots will be added to Valorant with the 2.08 update. In case you were wondering: coaching slots are just what you think they are - the option for team coaches to join in and spectate their team. Does this mean spectator mode is also coming with the new patch? Could be, but we wouldn't bet on it. At least the pro scene will benefit greatly from the new feature.
Patch 2.08 Release Date
The 2.08 patch in Valorant is expected to drop either tomorrow, April 21, or on April 27. That's the end date for the current Battle Pass and so far, this was always a good indicator of when the next major update is about to arrive. Considering some streamers have yet to get a first glimpse of the map this weekend it's probably going to be April 27.
That's all we know so far. We'd really love to see a new weapon but according to Riot, that won't be happening in 2021.
