Apparently, the Brazilian superstar Aspas has finally found his new home! He had plenty of offers to choose from, but did he pick the right team?
About nine days ago, Aspas announced on Twitter that his contract with LOUD had ended, and that he's exploring new opportunities. Since the announcement, he's been on the "free agent market", and now he's reportedly settled on a team.
Valorant: Aspas And Leviatán Seem To Have Reached A Verbal Agreement
In the Valorant scene, Erick stands out as an elite player, and there are only a handful with his level of talent. The question wasn't if he would receive offers, but which one he'd accept. Despite LOUD not retaining their Champions title, Aspas played a pivotal role, leading in Kills and showcasing his dominance in Valorant.
Interestingly, Leviatán had let go of their duelist on the very day LOUD confirmed Aspas's departure. With an open duelist spot and a top player like Aspas available, it seemed inevitable that their paths would cross. Rumors suggest that Leviatán was not the sole team to approach him, with NRG & Furia also in the mix.

Future Leviatán Valorant Roster With Aspas
While the official announcement is pending, here's a peek at what the Leviatán lineup might be with their latest addition:
Nickname | Role |
Francisco "kiNgg" Aravena | Player |
Erick "aspas" Santos (?) | Possible Player |
Fabian "Shyy" Usnayo | Player |
Agustin "Nozwerr" Ibarra | Player |

Even if Aspas joins, their lineup still wouldn't be completed, specifically in the coaching department. After Onur's departure from the Head Coach role on August 2nd, they've been linked to various coaching options. The X Spreadsheet suggests that Leviatán are in talks with Goked for the Head Coach position, and official updates on both him and Aspas might be coming soon.
