Shroud's Valorant team, WGO, didn't make it through the open qualifier for NA Stage 3 Challengers 2, as they fell to EZ5. Here are all the details.
A few weeks back, popular Valorant streamer shroud announced that he'll be making a team for the NA Stage 3 Challengers 2 open qualifier. Shroud remained true to his word and formed his team called "What’s going on" or simply WGO. The roster of WGO included some well-known players and streamers.
- shroud
- iiTzTimmy
- Relyks
- Laski
- ShawnBM
So, how far did they get in the NA Stage 3 Challengers 2 open qualifier? Let's just say that things could've been way better for them. WGO had a good start against Damn I Love Fwogs. Shroud's squad took Haven with 13-6 and Bind with 13-4. That sealed the deal, and fans of the streamer were excited to see more action. They did, but it wasn't what everyone hoped for.
WGO Fall to EZ5 in NA Stage 3 Challengers 2 Open Qualifier
The next team to go against versus WGO was EZ5. The latter proved to be too much of a challenge for shroud and his squad. The first map was Breeze, and EZ5 had the lead the entire time. The final score on the first map was 13-7 in favor of EZ5. Things didn't change much on the second map, which was Haven. Once again, EZ5 were dominating the map, wrapping it up with a final score of 13-5.

Thus, WGO's journey in the Valorant competitive scene was put to a halt. At least for now. Shroud did mention that they'll be playing for fun, but we're sure that many of his fans were hoping for more. Back when shroud first announced he's planning to participate, he said he really wanted to play KAY/O. Sadly, we didn't see him use the terminator. Instead, the streamer chose to play Viper on Breeze and Omen on Haven. The latter is rather odd, since Shroud is usually complaining how bad Omen is lately. Perhaps the bigger reason for WGO's loss was lag?
