According to multiple sources, there is reportedly a verbal agreement between Benjy and Team Heretics, with the signing expected to occur prior to the EMEA LCQ.
Ever Heard Of Benjyfishy
Benjy "benjyfishy" Fish is a well-known former professional Fortnite player from the United Kingdom. At the age of 19, he gained recognition and achieved great success in his Fortnite career in 2018. In 2022, he transitioned to playing Valorant while continuing as a content creator for NRG. Later on, he departed from NRG to compete professionally for Enterprise Esports in the Challengers 2023 East: Surge Split 1, where he received the Rookie of the Year award.
Recently, the Enterprise team he played for qualified for the VCT EMEA Ascension Play-in tournament, securing their spot with two second-place finishes in the Surge-Split, accumulating enough points for qualification.

Just before the rumors started circulating, Benjy left his temporary position at Enterprise, presumably to join Team Heretics, although it has only been discussed verbally for now. Meanwhile, Heretics did not achieve much success in the VCT EMEA competition. They finished 8th, behind BBL Esports, and had to substitute one of their coaches for the last three weeks of the season, replacing "zeek" due to "personality mismatches," which likely indicates conflicts within the team.

The Free Agent window is not yet open, and Heretics cannot officially sign any players from the market. However, due to their current situation, Riot has allowed Heretics to sign another player to replace "zeek" under the "emergency roster lock exception".
Heretics will participate in the EMEA Last Chance qualifier, which begins on July 15. Their current registered roster consists of:
- Wassim "keloqs" Cista
- Óscar Cañellas "mixwell" Colocho
- Brandon "weber" Weber
- Ričardas "Boo" Lukaševičius
- Auni "AvovA" Chahade
- Coach: Neil "neinzinho" Finlay
- (?) Standin: Benjy "benjyfishy" Fish
There is currently no signed contract in place, and only a verbal agreement has been confirmed.
