Ever since Rocket League Season 5 was announced, we've been waiting on the edge of our seats for this bad-boy to drop, shooting us all into space on this seesaw of life. There is quite a lot coming in Season 5, from the new Rocket Pass, to the new Battle Car, to the brand new Arena (which is not brand new at all), it's all rather exciting.

The thing is, though, that the most exciting thing about Rocket League Season 5 is not the selection of new content, it's not the new LTM, nor the predictably minimal selection of items. No, the most exciting thing about Rocket League Season 5 was the idea that Update 2.08 would come along and fix a bunch of the game's myriad of pressing issues.

Now, is this what has happened, now that this beefy baby has sat in the middle of Rocket League's field, crying foul at the last six-to-nine months of content? Has it reached our nerdy expectations, or has it fallen by the wayside just as Season 3 did back in March? We're here to take a look at the Update 2.08 Patch Notes, everything that has been added, and everything that has been fixed. Let's waste no more time, and get straight to it!

What is in Rocket League Update 2.08?

Rocket League Update 2.08 not only features all of the brand-new content coming in Season 5, but a solid set of bug fixes and known issues as well. This is exciting for any Rocket League die hard whom may, with our help, wish to make sense of the many bugs that dominate (in particular) the in-game garage.

Yes, Update 2.08 brings not only your standard set of Seasonal additions, but a whole variety of quality of life improvements that we have been crying out for throughout the last few months. What's more, Rocket League Update 2.08's Patch Notes reveal something even more important: Psyonix are on the ball, and they know exactly what needs to change in future updates.

Here's the deal, though, we can't just take you through the basics, you want to know the details, don't you? Well, here they are.
