The Spike Rush LTM isn't always available in the game but this weekend, along with a 2XP boost, the mode returns. But how long will it be in the game? And how do you master this prickly mode? Our guide will keep you up to date.

Spike Rush - Tips And Tricks
Spike Rush takes the traditional Rocket League formula and flips it on its head. A 3v3 casual game mode, it has a surprisingly high skill ceiling, and it is part of the reason it is so popular.
In Spike Rush, your car reacts differently as you are restricted with what you can do when you have the ball spiked. You will blow up with the smallest of bumps, and you can't use boost. The goals also sit off the wall facilitating a different path to the goal than you might be used to.
Here are our tips and tricks for mastering Spike Rush.
- Spike Rush is all about the on-the-ground dribble game. Feint, fake, and dribble past opponents.
- Pass the ball off before you get bumped. Remember, your car isn't as hardy when you are spiked, and you will get destroyed.
- Play through the middle. Playing off the walls is far more difficult and the backboard is almost impossible.
- Arrive late. Not being able to use boost when you have the ball spiked means you want to try and convert to a position high up the pitch where the distance between you and the goal is at its smallest.
That's it! If you are a big fan of the Spike Rush LTM then bookmark this page, after this weekend is over we will update this page regularly with all the latest news on its eventual return.
