We are currently right in the middle of Rocket League Season 7 and can regularly look forward to new items, bundles and even game modes. Another car body is now celebrating its debut in the battle arena: the Ford Bronco Raptor RLE impresses as a high-performance vehicle that was simply built for you SUV-lovers.

We'll show you how much the new Battle Car will cost and when the entire bundle will be available in the Rocket League Item Shop. We'll also give our first take on how well the Ford Bronco Raptor and its hitbox will be usable in Rocket League – will we see the new car speeding around at the RLCS World Championship anytime soon?

Ford Bronco Raptor RLE Debuts In Rocket League

Ford and Psyonix have worked together before and provided us with some really cool collaborations in Rocket League. However, the Ford Bronco Raptor RLE is entering the Battle Arena for the very first time – as an off-road vehicle, it clearly stands out from many other vehicles in Rocket League in terms of its shape and size.

Bundle: All Items & Current Price

Let's first answer the most important question of all: The Ford Bronco Raptor RLE Bundle costs you 1,100 RL Credits. In terms of price, this is completely normal for Rocket League – most other sets (e.g. the WWE Summerslam Pack) are just as expensive.

So, let's get to what's actually in it. You can look forward to a total of five different new items:

  • Ford Bronco Raptor RLE (Car Body)
  • Ford Bronco Raptor RLE (Engine Audio)
  • Ford Bronco Raptor RLE (Wheels)
  • Ford Bronco Raptor (Decal)
  • Ford Bronco Raptor (Player Banner)

New Car Body With Unpopular Hitbox

As you can probably guess from an off-road vehicle, the Ford Bronco Raptor uses the Merc hitbox in Rocket League. With the size and scope of the car body, that's really the only plausible solution. Unfortunately, Merc isn't one of the most popular hitboxes within the Rocket League community – very few can handle the larger turning radius.

However, the Merc hitbox is pretty good for playing goalie. If you want to make a lot of saves during a match and want to keep things safe in the back, the Ford Bronco Raptor RLE could be just the thing for you.

Ford Bronco Raptor Release Date

On August 4th, at 9 a.m. PDT (4 p.m. UTC), the Ford Bronco Raptor will be coming to Rocket League for the first time. Anyone who is more involved with the game and also regularly follows the esports scene knows that this is happening parallel to the start of the RLCS World Championship. You can grab the body until August 16, so you'll have almost two weeks to decide.

By the way, Ford is also an official partner of the Rocket League World Championship. That's why 12 of the best freestylers can show their skills and tricks in order to possibly play for a total prize pool of 100,000 US dollars at the RLCS World Championship. Pretty nice and fun to watch!
