Multifunctional Headset Holder Review: First Impressions and Packaging
At first glance, the packaging of this multifunctional headset holder makes a very positive impression. The sturdy cardboard box is well-designed and the components are neatly packaged and sorted. The manufacturer provides instructions in three languages: English, German and Japanese.
Furthermore, the instructions are accompanied by very illustrative pictures - just as they should be! In addition, the holder is available in three different colors (black, white, pink), so any setup can be enhanced with the holder. In our review, we used the white one.
Practical Test Reveals: A Multi-function Holder is Great Accessory!
During the field test, I immediately noticed that assembling the holder was super easy. The holder is made of simple plastic, with a few moving links and a screw that allows the holder to be securely attached to the table. A simple sliding mechanism allows the components to slide into each other and stay securely in place without slipping. Initially, I had some concerns, as I own a microphone stand, but these concerns quickly proved to be unfounded.
Replacing the controller holder with the cupholder is also incredibly easy. All you have to do is slide the components apart, and you can swap them right out. It's a minimalist yet effective design choice that I like. It also means that no additional tools are needed.
The desk looks much more organized and has even motivated me to drink my drinks instead of just leaving them standing. The holder easily holds the weight of standard drinks up to 1.5 liter bottles and even has a recess for cups.
Two cables can also be attached to the holder. However, the usefulness of these two cable organizers depends heavily on your setup. In my current setup, it wasn't very helpful, but that could change in the future. The only drawback is the wobbly appearance due to all the movement of the holder. This is only noticeable if you shake or rattle it excessively.
Price/Performance Ratio
The price-performance ratio of this multifunctional headset holder is extremely good. For only 20 dollars, you get a product that is not only functional, but also helps to organize several areas.
Conclusion
Overall, KDD's multifunctional headset holder is a winner. It's easy to assemble, provides a secure attachment to the table, and allows for safe storage of the headset as well as your controller or beverage. The overall construction may seem a bit wobbly at first, but this is only due to the freedom of movement of the individual components. Other than that, there are no negatives to point out, especially considering the price. Honestly, I was expecting far more flaws in this regard.
✅ Therefore, I give a clear buying recommendation!
