After 40 Years, Finally New Halloween Games
Boss Team Games CEO Steve Harris recently told IGN that they are working on two Halloween games.
They didn't give any info about the release date or genre. It might be another asymmetric multiplayer like Evil Dead: The Game or Dead by Daylight. But Steve Harris mentioned, that they are working with the Unreal Engine 5 and that they are trying to "relive moments from the film and play as classic characters from one of the most iconic and important horror films of all time."
It's been a very long time coming. The last video game based on Halloween was released way back in 1983 for the Atari 2600.
Carpenter Becoming A Video Game Director?
Steve Harris revealed that John Carpenter will be "intimately involved". He told IGN:
"As a huge gamer myself, I’m thrilled to help bring Michael Myers to life again in this game, and my hope is to scare you silly,"
Well, we're hoping too, mister Carpenter.
