Season 3 of the popular Prime Video series Reacher is currently being filmed. Amazon's streaming department has revealed some interesting plot details, and we're here to show you everything you need to know about the series.
Featuring Alan Ritchson's riveting performance and grounded in rich source material, Reacher has quickly become a hit on Amazon Prime Video. As Season 3 begins production in Canada, fans are eagerly anticipating Reacher's next thrilling adventure.
Based on the ungodly long book series by Lee Child – that you can and should check out right here – the show tells the story of ex-major Jack Reacher and his way of serving justice where justice needs to be served. The first season covered the events of the first book Killing Floor and the second season tackled Bad Luck and Trouble (or as I like to call it: my life. But I digress). Prime has now confirmed which book they are going to adapt in season 3.
Reacher Season 3: Prime Confirms Source Material
As each book in the series has its very own story to tell, it was no big deal to jump from adapting the first book to the eleventh. Prime even took some storylines from other books and threw them into the mix to keep book readers on their toes – good call, if you ask me, as the show introduced Frances Neagley way earlier thanks to the creative liberties.
For the upcoming season, they settled on adapting book 7: Persuader . Neagley will be there again as well, keeping co-stars Alan Ritchson and Maria Sten together in their next investigation. God bless!
If you wish to wait for Reacher Season 3 in blissful ignorance, this is your exit. If you want a little taste of what's to come, then you're in the right place – and don't worry, I won't spoil the juicy bits.
In Persuader, Reacher is once again confronted with his military past. While traveling, he sees some news about Beck, an alleged drug lord he once hunted back in the day, and decides to investigate. He meets his wife Susan, a woman in grave danger from her husband's criminal associates.
With Reacher being Reacher, he takes it upon himself to protect Susan. Both have their own reasons to resent Beck and together, they try to put an end to his crimes.
