Luke Cage actor, Mike Coulter, has stated that he would like to return to the character in the MCU.
Luke Cage made his first appearance as a cameo in Jessica Jones season 1. Shortly after, he made his lead debut in his own show.
The show was sadly cancelled after the second season, and we haven't seen Luke Cage since his appearance in Iron Fist season 2.
Luke Cage Might Return To The MCU
In an interview with comicbook.com, Coulter talked about his character in the MCU.
Coulter stated that he would like to return as Luke Cage in some capacity or another, but there were still a few roadblocks ahead of that.
I would love to explore it, if they found some story, some way, somewhere, to take it.
If you didn't know yet, the Daredevil-show received a creative overhaul. The cast is extended to some new faces, and there is a new creative team behind production.
Coulter addressed this matter, regarding a potential appearance of Luke Cage.
And I'm happy that Charlie Cox and those are getting it rebooted, but I don't have any [idea if Luke Cage is getting rebooted]. I'm not holding anything back.
It's definitely a good sign that Coulter would be on board to pick the character back up, but only time will tell, if we see Luke Cage again.
