Riot's upcoming fighting game, 2XKO could be released much sooner than many fans thought. Are you ready for this new game from Riot set in the world of League of Legends?
Riot has been working on quite a lot of unique projects beside their main titles, League of Legends and Valorant. One of the games that we know about, that isn't their upcoming MMORPG, is a fighting game which will include a set of champions from League of Legends.
The game has had multiple builds shown off at prime fighting game events like evo throughout the last year, and thanks to insider Daniel Richtman, a potential release window has been revealed.
2XKO: Insider Reveals Release Window
According to Daniel Richtman, 2XKO could be coming as early as the beginning of 2025. Yes, that means players might only have to wait another half year until they're able to play the upcoming tag team fighting game.
Of course, this isn't confirmed by Riot Games just yet and is still coming from an industry insider. 2XKO, despite the odd name, has been receiving a lot of positive feedback from players in the fighting game community who got to test out a couple of champions at events.
2XKO will be a tag team fighter, where switching between characters is going to be key thanks to intro and outro abilities. You can also play it solo or with a friend, with each person controlling one of the two characters which sounds like a lot of fun that could lead to some shenanigans.
Not all champions have been revealed yet, but we do hope some more League of Legends characters will be making their way to 2XKO. A fighting game without Sett would just be illegal.
