Alongside the Scout Strider that also looks a lot like Star Wars' AT-ST, it also takes a lot of inspiration from the Starship Troopers universe with its bug-like enemies, mechs, and political satire.

Many people who have recently watched Dune 2 reported the fascinating similarities with the trending movie and HD2's sand planet. Furthermore, many players enjoy the nostalgia that they get from the game's atmosphere, which reminds a lot of classic PS2 games and their blend of chaos and humor.

So, there is a lot to be found in Helldivers that may remind you of different franchises, which is an exciting feature as it makes this already diverse and engaging game, even more relatable for a bread spectrum of players.
