A TikToker called out gamers, saying anyone over the age of 25 who still plays video games has to grow up. The internet did not take it well.
A TikToker has decided to take on the internet with his comments about the "age limit" of gaming. In a video he posted online, the TikToker explained why he didn't think people over the age of 25 should still be playing video games.
Did it go over well? Not at all. The internet has since roasted the man like a crispy fried chicken. But did he truly believe his take on gaming and age would be well received?
TikToker Tells Gamers Over 25 To Grow Up
@itsaaronwilkinson I reckon im in the wrong generation here #normalbloke #gaming
original sound - Aaron
A TikTok has gone viral by content creator "itsaaronwilkinson" who stated that he believes anyone still gaming over the age of 25 should "grow up".
Call me old school, but you can't catch me in headphones. Not at 26. You've got to grow up out of it in my opinion. You've got to grow up. You can't be gaming as a dad, as a husband. It just doesn't make sense.
This statement did not go over well with the internet. Comments on TikTok flooded in. Commenters pointed out that it was particularly ironic of him to share the message on TikTok.
Others also pointed out the sheer volume of TikTok's Aaron has made in the last week, while other commenters asked whether they should be watching Deal or No Deal or busting out the crossword puzzles once they hit the ripe old age of 25.

This discussion quickly spread from TikTok to Twitter, with more weighing in on the topic, and most disagreeing with Aaron.
Gaming has become extremely mainstream in the last few years, so it's hard to understand why people still have this image of it being for children. As with books, movies and all other pieces of media, there are games designed for children and games made for adults.
