A new trailer for Red Dead Redemption 2 for next gen consoles was just leaked, but the question remains: Is it legit?
Red Dead Redemption 2 has been out for almost six years now, and the game is still one of the best-looking games we've ever seen.
This feat is even more impressive, when you realize that it's not even out on next gen consoles. Rockstar managed to push the boundaries of the PS4 and Xbox One to a degree, where the game's graphics are nearly next gen level.
Now, a post about a possible next gen release for Red Dead Redemption 2 has been getting attention on X.
RDR2 For PS5 & Xbox Series
The trailer in question was filmed with a phone camera, while it ran on a different screen, which is why you can't really tell anything about the graphics.
Is Rockstar Games up to something? Taken from a now deleted Reddit post about a PS5 and Xbox Series X version of Red Dead Redemption 2. Bully just got rated for the same consoles so who knows. pic.twitter.com/TQWWpGK4bv

But, there are some indicators in the video, that hint at the trailer being fake.
The first one is, that it wouldn't make sense to release an RDR2 next gen version so close to GTA VI.
The second hint is that the post hasn't been taken down yet. Normally, Rockstar is pretty quick to find and eradicate leaks.
If you look at the comments, you can see that the community mostly agrees on the trailer being a fake.
What do you think? Is this new RDR2 next gen trailer fake? Would you like to see Rockstar release the game for PS5 and Xbox Series?
