A new Warzone glitch, regarding the akimbo's time to kill, broke the game's meta, but it has now been fixed by developers.
CoD's Battle Royale, Warzone, has seen some insane loadouts over the years. So many weapon builds have already broken the game with their insanely short time to kill.
But this new akimbo bug might have been the insanest of them all.
New Akimbo Bug Shreds Through Everything
Someone discovered a bug, where if you navigate the attachments in a specific way, you can select a weapon mode that would normally be locked.
This bug resulted in the Akimbo attachment being the most overpowered Loadout in the game. The dual pistols decimated anything in close to mid-range in a matter of seconds.

As you can see, there was literally no counter play to this.
You already guessed correctly that this was an accidental feature, and the devs have now fixed the bug.
What Was Fixed Exactly
The problem was that the XRK IP-V2 Conversion Kit should not be possible to combine with the Akimbo attachment. The Conversion Kit turns the COR-45 pistol into a hybrid semi-automatic SMG, which already has very good stats.
Before the patch, you were able to select the XRK IP-V2 Conversion Kit combined with the Akimbo attachment, due to an exploit.
For better or worse, the bug was now removed, and you can go on playing Warzone, without the fear of getting shredded in 0.5 seconds.
What do you think? Did you try the exploit when it was available?
