Fallout London was supposed to come out by the end of April 2024. However, due to an upcoming update for Fallout 4, the release has been delayed indefinitely.
Fallout London was set to release on April 23, 2024. But because of the upcoming Next Gen upgrades for Fallout 4, the release has been pushed back.
The update scheduled for April 25, 2024 will bring about many changes. However, since Fallout London hasn't been adjusted for the update yet, it could lead to significant issues without further adjustments.
Fallout London: Update Brings Advantages Despite Delay
Due to the Next Gen update, Fallout London might not work as planned. Most mods rely on the Fallout 4 Script Extender, which needs to be adjusted depending on the update to ensure the functionality of the mods built on it.
So, to ensure that Fallout London still works after the update, the release date has been delayed indefinitely to make the necessary adjustments.
Project Lead Dean Carter believes that the new update will bring many benefits, not just for the game, but also for the mod.
He explained:
On the technical front being able to play Fallout London with new potential engine improvements and the performance upgrades is fantastic. It's going to mean that we can push the engine even harder than we've already pushed it.
So, let's wait and see when Fallout London will be released and what other cool features it might have.
