The Game of the Year 2023, Baldur's Gate 3, enhances its already incredible adventure with Patch 6, prompting me to embark on yet another journey through the game, likely leading to a two-week seclusion in my apartment.

Larian Studios released Patch 6 in the week of February 12 – just in time for Valentine's Day. This update brings not only crucial bug fixes but also adds a touch of romance, perfect for celebrating the week of love.

Baldur's Gate 3 Patch 6 Gives Players Some More Quality Time With Their Partner Of Choice

One of Baldur's Gate's many strengths for sure is the investment players have in their companion characters and, obviously, the romance option. Whether you're more into the sweet little moments between adventurers trying to save the world or straight up foursomes with some Drows is up to you. I don't judge either way.

However, if you prefer to live your romantic lives in the game, Larian Studios announced the patch on February 9 and already shared it's going to be "a hefty one." So make sure to keep an eye out for the patch drop to start the download as soon as possible, not only for new smooching animations, but also improved immersion at camp and, if you dare, new Legendary Actions in Honour Mode.

There's no concrete release date just yet, only the announcement that it'll drop in the week of February 12 – Valentine's Day, maybe? Or is Larian Studios holding back now after a certain Tweet from the day before the announcement, just because they can?

The last big patch we got was back in November and added new epilogue scenes that were a great addition to an already amazing game, so chances are the new "hefty" patch will also make for an even more immersive experience.
