In the midst of the 2024 Paris Olympics, a surprising and whimsical twist saw an Assassin's Creed cosplayer, channeling Arno from the iconic game, performing breathtaking acrobatics on the rooftops of Paris.
The 2024 Paris Olympics are currently in full swing. Among the grandeur and sportsmanship, there was an unexpected twist. NBC Sports covered an intriguing sight – a man in an Assassin's Creed outfit, looking just like Arno, the protagonist from Assassin's Creed Unity.
Impressive Acrobatics on Rooftops
This Arno-alike amazed everyone with his acrobatics on the rooftops of Paris. He even zip-lined across the Seine while carrying the Olympic torch. He also cut a few promos for the live broadcast. It was like watching a mix of Forrest Gump and a cosplay convention.
Ubisoft, the creator of Assassin's Creed, hinted at this surprise on X (formerly Twitter). They posted,
"Keep an eye on Paris' rooftops—Arno might just be watching from above."
Arno Dorian is a well-known character, famous for his parkour skills in the streets of Revolutionary Paris. This means, they probably organized it as an advertisement for new upcoming Assassin's Creed Shadows

NBC Sports didn’t make a big deal about Arno from Assassin's Creed, a subtle approach which kept the focus on the Olympics. But if you tuned in at an odd moment, you might have thought he was just another masked parkour enthusiast.
This fun display was somewhat overshadowed by several mishaps during the Olympics. There were trains getting sabotaged, leaving 800,000 people stranded. Plus, the whole city experienced a power outage.
Despite the chaos, it’s heartwarming to see some fun and unique integration of pop culture into the Olympics. Amidst all the issues, it’s nice to know they’re having some fun in Paris.
