The latest update, Patch 1.3.2, in Diablo 4 comes with a new mount bundle now available in Tejal's Shop. However, the community's response is already brewing with hate towards Blizzard. The Vitreous Scourge Mount bundle includes the Crystal and Bone Prestige Mount, Mount Armor, and 7,000 Platinum, all for a hefty price tag of $64.99 USD at Tejal's Shop.
While the mount is quite the eye-catcher with its crystallized design, a lot of players remain skeptical. One user Tweeted: "I enjoy D4 and this mount looks cool. But $65 USD is insane", and they are not alone with that opinion. Many argue that the bundle's price is over the top, accusing Blizzard of prioritizing profit over player satisfaction— something you hear quite often when it comes to the game developer. Blizzard has frequently faced allegations of overpricing microtransactions and cosmetics, leaving players to question whether a $65 bundle can genuinely even be considered a "micro"transaction.
This is the kind of stuff that should be rewarded for clearing the hardest boss on Hardcore etc. Sad to see Diablo still going down the lonely road

We all noticed that there is an increasing trend of high prices for cosmetic items in games, but this one really takes the cake. In perspective: This Diablo 4 bundle is priced higher than the current sale price of the game itself. Instead of spending $65 on an in-game cosmetic and currency, players could also opt for purchasing Baldur's Gate 3, and STILL have money left for a cup of coffee.
Until February 20, Diablo 4 is on sale for $41.99 instead of $69.99. Which makes the Mount bundle more expensive than the game itself!
What Is The Most Expensive In-Game Item Ever Sold?
The debate over the rising costs of cosmetic items and their actual value is always a controversial topic in among gamers, but did you know that compared to the most expensive collectable of all time, Blizzard could be considered affordable? Check this out! ⬇️
Planet Calypso is an in-game collectable from the Sci-Fi MMORPG game, Entropia Universe. The game has a real cash economy and owns some of the most expensive in-game trades ever. Planet Calypso was sold for $6 Million USD in 2011 and is considered the most expensive in-game purchase to this day.
