A famous painter from TikTok decided to add Fortnite to an old painting he found at a thrift shop. He let his community decide what to paint, and the result makes me wanna jump right on the Battle Bus again!
Recently, a painter on social media had the idea to add Fortnite to an old picture he found on a thrift shop.
He let his community decide, what he should draw, and the end result is a Fortnite masterpiece!
TikTok Artist Turns Old Painting Into A Fortnite Masterpiece
The artist we are talking about is Paco, also known as "artbypacoway" on TikTok and Instagram. The American is a surrealist artist, and he loves to mix "the urban decay of city life with the lively beauty of nature", as he describes himself on his website.
So it's not far off that he is able to even transport Fortnite in an old painting that was of course not intended to be used like that.
The bridge in the original painting looks pretty similar to the wooden bridge between Salty Springs and Weeping Woods in Fortnite Chapter 2! Here is a comparison:
For sure, it's not 100 percent the same bridge, especially because of the pillar in the middle on the painted bridge. But with the color of the grass and the general vibe, the pictures kinda match.
The whole painting process took Paco 12 days, but mainly because he wanted his community to decide what to draw next. Now let's take a closer look at the highlights of the painting!
Fortnite Battle Bus And People Jumping Out
He started with a classic Battle Bus, which looked so good! He also added some little players jumping out. We love the contrails he made! A little detail, but it gives us the typical Fortnite vibe.
Peely, A Chest, Slurp Barrels And Some Loot
With the shine around the items on the floor, it really looks like it's in game! We also love Peely being added in the background, even though the face is not matching 100 percent with the original, it kinda fits perfect to the style of the picture.
Loot Llama
Paco told, that the Loot Llama was one of the most suggested things he should draw. So he obviously did that, and the lama looks insane!
A Sweaty Build Fight
A Fortnite painting is not all about happiness, calm and beautiful nature. So he added a part of build fight which is a really common thing in Fortnite today, that should not be left out on such a picture.
Reboot Van And Fishing Hole
Finally, our favorite feature on the painting is the Reboot Van. I mean, look at these details! We also love the Flopper jumping out of the fishing hole. And in the background, there is someone camping next to the loot drop. Even though the sniper glare is a kinda new feature in the game, Paco was already aware and added it in a creative way!
Fortnite Painting Final Result
After taking a look at all the details, we no longer want to hide the final result. And shoutout to Paco, he really cooked here!
As he is not just an influencer on Instagram and TikTok but an artist, he is also selling his work. Sadly, the painting was sold immediately. He also produced 100 signed prints on his website, but sadly these have also unfortunately sold out!
@artbypacoway Start to finish! Here's my entire process turning this old thrift shop painting into a Fortnite painting... How'd I do?! . This original painting is SOLD, but there are still some limited edition signed and numbered prints left on my website www.pacoway.com These are flying off the shelf, so get them while you can! Email me at art@pacoway.com if you have any questions or if you'd like to order internationally. We'd be happy to help! Much love, Paco . #art #fortnite #painting #paintingprocess #thrifted #thrift #thriftstorefinds #thriftflip #artist #fortniteart #fortnitecommunity #gameart #gamer #artlife #artbypacoway #artcollectors #arttok
original sound - Paco
But maybe he will do another Fortnite picture in the future due to positive feedback he gained. We would love to see another masterpiece by Paco, maybe we will get our hands on one exemplar as well... It would definitely fit the office!
What do you think? Do you like his idea of transforming an old picture to something new? We love his work!
