Fortnite Reload Leads To Lowest Player Numbers Since March 2023
Fortnite Reload has quickly sparked major hype in the game. And it’s not surprising. In Reload, team members receive restarts as long as one member of the team is still alive. The mode is a 40-player experience on a more compact map with well-known locations like Tilted Towers and Retail Row, as well as old, popular weapons like the Scar and the Pumpgun. If the entire team is eliminated, it means "Game Over." The last remaining squad wins, regardless of whether you choose the Battle Royale or Zero Build mode.
The best part: Vehicles, mythical weapons, and OP abilities do not exist, giving the game the nostalgia of Chapter 1 and making the mode so popular. The old locations and weapons are just the cherry on top.
It's no wonder that players prefer to play the new mode rather than Battle Royale, where you currently either get run over by cars or smashed by the so-called "Nitro Fists." Thus, the Build Mode of Reload had 346,000 concurrent players, while "only" 189,000 people played the normal Battle Royale mode.

Currently, Fortnite Reload is available for squads and duos, with the prospect of future expansion to trios. Whether the hype will die down or continue to surpass the Battle Royale mode in terms of numbers remains to be seen.
