The 25-year-old streamer Myth confirmed that when he eventually returns to streaming, it will be on Twitch, where he last streamed in late 2022 before signing an exclusivity deal with YouTube. Myth's return to the Amazon-owned platform isn't unexpected, given his declining presence on YouTube, where his livestreams have recently garnered only 10,000 to 20,000 views.

Myth's Decision To Step Away From Streaming: What Led To The Break?

Leading up to his final YouTube stream on July 13, Myth hinted at his departure, with the stream lasting just two hours. While Myth insisted he wasn't retiring from streaming, he acknowledged the need to reignite his passion for the platform. "I love streaming... I want to feel happy to do it," he said, adding that he wants to find a real reason to continue in the entertainment space.

Reflecting on his career, Myth said, "I do feel like I've accomplished a lot, but at the same time, I look back at my past and I have this feeling that I really didn't do much." Despite these feelings, Myth has a sizable audience awaiting his return, with over 7.3 million followers on his inactive Twitch channel, which hasn't been active since June 2022.

The Future Of Myth On Twitch: What Fans Can Expect When He Returns

It's unlikely that Myth will sign another exclusive deal with Twitch, potentially leaving the door open for platforms like Kick to approach him. However, given the lucrative nature of his YouTube deal - described by Myth as "getting the f****** bag" - money may not be the primary factor in his future decisions. When Myth returns to streaming, he plans to focus on creating content that feels true to him. "I want to make content and stream in a way that's authentic to me," he said.
