McDonalds is getting its own anime adaptation... or well at least some form of anime-esque promo.
McDonald's has teamed up with the famous animation studio "Studio Pierrot" to create some form of anime about the fast food chain. The company recently dropped the trailer animated by the studio that brought fans Naruto and Black Clover.
The teaser which was revealed online teases this anime along with an actual release date, but who would have thought that the McDonald's would actually bring out a real anime about its chicken nuggets?
McDonald's Anime By Studio Pierrot Teased
In the teaser which was posted on the official McDonald's Twitter page, fans get to experience some form of isekai anime which transports someone into the vast world of McDonald's with burgers, chicken nuggets and the trademark fries in the red container.
Isekai is a genre of fantasy fiction where characters are transported from their own world to an unfamiliar, often fantastical realm. These stories typically explore themes of adventure, discovery, and the struggle to adapt or thrive in the new world, often involving quests, battles, and interactions with local inhabitants or otherworldly beings.
This is a collaboration between McDonald's, as well as Studio Pierrot who are a well known anime studio that animated some of the most iconic shows to date like Naruto and Black Clover.

The teaser was posted on February 20 and reveals that more is to come on February 26. Whether this is just a longer ad or an actual anime episode is yet to be determined.
This isn't the first time McDonald's has made some form of 'anime advertisement', but it is the first time they've done so overseas, with McDonald's Japan usually working on these types of ads. So it'll be interesting to see what McDonald's international has cooked up for fans.
