Faker Side-Lined Even Longer
The pause, caused by an injury, for T1 midlaner Lee "Faker" Sang-hyeok will be longer than expected. According to his head coach, Im "Tom" Jae-hyeon, the star needs longer to recover, even tho he started playing League of Legends again a couple of days ago.
In the beginning, it was expected that Faker might be out for just two weeks, and fans were hoping to see him back in T1's match against Hanwa Life Esports. But according to Tom, Faker is still under treatment and the team would be currently checking whether Faker could play or not.
In the upcoming matches, Faker will still be replaced by midlaner Yoon "Poby" Seong-won. T1 will have to face OKSavingsBank Brion, DRX and kt Rolster in the following weeks. When Faker will return is currently unknown.
At the moment, every T1 fan just hopes that Faker is able to play again as soon as possible, since the LCK playoffs are coming up and T1 is yet to lock-in their spot.
