W Engines are nothing but weapons in Zenless Zone Zero that players can use on their agents to improve certain stats while increasing elemental damage, energy gain and other things.
At the moment, the game offers three different rarities of W Engines. These are:
- B (⭐⭐⭐)
- A (⭐⭐⭐⭐)
- S (⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐)
Each W Engine is categorized by its Type, which is Anomaly, Attack, Defence, Stun, and Support. With so many factors attached to the W Engines in Zenless Zone Zero, knowing which W Engine is good for your character can be daunting.
Seeing that, I have prepared this handy ZZZ W Engines tier list, ranking all available weapons in the game under different tiers.
ZZZ W Engines Tier List
My ZZZ W Engines tier list is based on the direct stat boost each provides to the agents, secondary stats, W Engine's ability, and the ease of triggering them.
- S tier: The W Engines in this tier greatly boost the main stats and are the best in their Type.
- A tier: The W Engines in this tier are almost as good as the S-tier ones but are behind in terms of %-increase in stats or buffs when maxed out
- B tier: The W Engines in this tier are good for clearing the game's story
- C tier: The W Engines in this tier are good only during the first few hours of the game
- D tier: Avoid the W Engines in this tier and make sure not to use any resources on them
